# FAQ

  <Accordion title="Do I need to install anything on my computer?">
    No. Dashprep is a Shopify app plus a web board. You install the app from your Shopify admin and open the board in any browser — nothing to download.

  <Accordion title="Does Dashprep change my Shopify orders?">
    No. Dashprep has read-only access. It reads orders, products, and customer details to build your board, but it never edits, cancels, or creates anything in Shopify.

  <Accordion title="Where is my board and how do I open it?">
    Your board lives at your own address on `dash-prep.com` (for example, `yourstore.dash-prep.com`). Sign in with the admin account you created during onboarding. See [Open your prep board](/getting-started/your-dashboard).

  <Accordion title="Can my whole team use it at once?">
    Yes. Add a login for each person in [Team](/config/team) and everyone shares the same live board. There's no per-seat charge.

  <Accordion title="Can I show it on more than one screen?">
    Yes. Open the board on as many screens as your plan allows, and pair dedicated [wall displays](/displays/overview) that stay signed in. Essentials supports 3 screens at once, Advanced 15, and Professional unlimited.

  <Accordion title="An order didn't show up on the board — why?">
    Usually it's a filter or the date. Check that you're on the right date (or turn on **all unfulfilled**) and clear any active filters. See [Troubleshooting](/help/troubleshooting).

  <Accordion title="Do I need prep stations?">
    Only if more than one spot on your floor makes different things. Stations route each item to the right screen automatically. They're available on Advanced and Professional. See [Prep stations](/concepts/prep-stations).

  <Accordion title="How does billing work?">
    Through Shopify. You approve and pay for Dashprep like any other Shopify app. New stores get one 3-day free trial of the full app (capped at 3 screens, 1 prep station, no custom subdomain); after that, access pauses until you pick a paid plan. See [Plans & pricing](/billing/plans).

  <Accordion title="What happens to my data if I uninstall?">
    Billing stops and your data is removed in line with our [privacy policy](https://dash-prep.com/legal/privacy). See [Uninstalling Dashprep](/account/uninstall).
