# Marking work done

> Complete items and orders, undo with recall, and update many orders at once.

The heart of the board is moving work from **open** to **complete**. You can do it one item at a time, a whole order at a time, or many orders at once.

## Complete as you go

<Steps>
  <Step title="Finish a line item">
    Tap a line item to mark it complete. The order shows its progress as items finish.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Complete the order">
    When every item is done, complete the order and it moves to the **Complete** tab, ready to ship.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  Turn on the **auto-complete prompt** in [Settings](/config/settings) and Dashprep will offer to complete an order for you the moment its last item is finished — one fewer tap.
</Tip>

## Recall (undo)

Marked something done too soon? **Recall** moves an item or order back to open. It works on a single card or across a whole selection, so a mistake is never more than a tap to fix.

## Bulk actions

When a batch comes out of the oven together, you don't want to tap twenty cards.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Enter Select mode">
    Tap **Select**. The cards become selectable (tap **Cancel** to leave without changing anything).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick the orders">
    Tap each order you want to act on.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Complete or Recall the selection">
    Mark them all **Complete**, or **Recall** them all back to open, in one action. Dashprep confirms with a quick toast.
  </Step>
</Steps>
