# Sequencing & due times

> Put the board in the exact order your team should work, and let due-time warnings surface what's urgent.

The board isn't just a list — it's a work order. Dashprep gives you two ways to make sure the right thing gets made next.

## Drag to reorder

Drag any order card to move it up or down the board. The order you set is saved and shared, so everyone works the same sequence — no arguing about what's next.

<Tip>
  Set the board top-to-bottom in the order things should be made. New arrivals slot in without disturbing the sequence you've built.
</Tip>

## Priority flags

Flag an order as **priority** and it stands out on the board and rises to the top. Use it for the rush order, the VIP, or the one that's running late. Unflag it just as easily when it's handled.

## Due-time countdowns and warnings

Each order can show a **countdown** to when it's due, so the most time-sensitive work is obvious at a glance.

Turn on **due-time warnings** in [Settings](/config/settings) and Dashprep will alert you as an order approaches its due time — you choose how many minutes ahead to warn (15 by default). If you've enabled the warning sound, the board chimes so someone notices even if they're not staring at the screen.

<Note>
  Due times come from your orders' dates. Warnings check continuously against the board's live clock, so a card starts flashing for attention before it's actually late — not after.
