# Manage your subscription

> Start your trial, switch plans, see your usage, and cancel — all handled through Shopify.

Dashprep bills through **Shopify's own subscription system**. That means you approve and pay for Dashprep the same way as any other Shopify app — charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice, and you never enter card details into Dashprep itself.

## Start your free trial

New stores get **one 3-day free trial** of the full app — capped at 3 screens, 1 prep station, and no custom subdomain. When the 3 days end, access pauses until you choose a paid plan. When you pick a plan (during [onboarding](/getting-started/onboarding) or from the Dashprep app), Shopify shows you a secure approval page to confirm the subscription. Paid plans don't include a separate trial.

## Change plans

    In your Shopify admin, open Dashprep and go to **Billing** (or **View plans**).

    Choose a different tier or switch between monthly and annual. Shopify handles the proration.

    Confirm on Shopify's approval page and your new plan takes effect.

Upgrade when you add stations or screens; downgrade if your volume drops.

## Keep an eye on usage

Your plan includes a monthly order allowance. Dashprep shows your current usage in the app so you can see where you stand and upgrade before you hit the limit.

## Cancel

Uninstalling the Dashprep app from your Shopify admin ends the subscription — Shopify stops billing you. See [Uninstalling Dashprep](/account/uninstall) for what happens to your data.
